In order to begin your speech, deliver a short introduction. In this part of your speech, remember to welcome the guests and to thank them for their presence. You may say something that goes like this: “Family, relatives, and friends of the bride and the groom – a pleasant evening to all of you! For those of you who have only just seen this handsome face today, please allow me to introduce myself to you. To follow the introduction is the body of your speech. In this part, what you can do is to provide brief anecdotes about the bride, remembering moments during your childhood.
